ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement after Raphael Warnock refused to do his job as a Senator and missed multiple votes so far this week.
This week, Raphael Warnock has missed the following votes:
- November 14: District Court Judge
- November 14: District Court Judge
- November 15: Ending COVID National Emergency
“As Raphael Warnock’s ex-wife said, he is a fantastic actor, and his current role is playing a ‘junior Senator’ for the people of Georgia,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “He must not have read the script, because it calls for actually showing up for work. Warnock had the opportunity to vote to end the COVID national emergency after nearly three years, which would lift unnecessary burdens and regulations on businesses across the country. Instead, he decided to stay home and not do the job he was elected to do. Warnock used his Senate office to double his income in two years and attempted to evict poor Georgians from their homes during the pandemic. If he can’t even show up, it’s time for him to return the seat to someone who can.”
