Warnock Continues to Oppose American Energy Independence

ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement as Raphael Warnock continues to fight against American energy independence.

Since January 2021, the average gas price in Georgia is up over 80%, forcing Georgia’s hard-working families to pay record-high prices to fill up their cars. Despite these record prices, Raphael Warnock continues to oppose increasing domestic energy production. Warnock has voted against the Keystone XL pipeline four times, even though it would provide thousands of good-paying jobs for American workers. Warnock also voted against blocking a ban on hydraulic fracking, opposes increasing oil and natural gas drilling, and has long supported ending fossil fuels.

“It is no secret that Raphael Warnock has worked harder for Joe Biden than he has for Georgians,” said spokesperson Mallory Blount. “America has plenty of natural resources that can be used to help make us energy independent. Increasing American energy production would create thousands of jobs and provide a huge boost to our economy during tough times. Georgians are struggling to make ends meet, but their junior Senator seems more interested in supporting Joe Biden’s agenda than supporting them.”
