ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel issued the following statement as Raphael Warnock continues to fail to deliver results for the people of Georgia. Warnock often speaks about all of the work he is doing to lower costs for Georgians, even though inflation is up 9.1% since June 2021 and the average price of gas in Georgia is up over 80% since Warnock and Joe Biden took office in January 2021.
“Raphael Warnock has done more to help Joe Biden than to help the people of Georgia. Before coming into office, Warnock promised to fight to lower costs for average Georgians,” said spokesperson Mallory Blount. “Instead, we are paying record-high prices in the store and at the gas pump. While other ‘moderate’ Democrats have raised concerns about rising prices, Warnock has not said a word and continues to be a rubber-stamp in the Senate. Washington Warnock is all talk and no action and has failed to deliver for Georgia’s hard-working families and small businesses.”
