ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement after Raphael Warnock voted against redirecting funds from his partisan spending bill allocated to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to support Georgia’s students.
“Raphael Warnock has done more to support Joe Biden’s reckless spending than Georgia’s parents and students,” said spokesperson Mallory Blount. “The learning loss suffered by students across the country from virtual classes is well-documented and expected to hurt grades and test scores for years to come. Instead of voting to support Georgia’s future, Washington Warnock voted right along with Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders to send the IRS after middle- and low-income families. Raphael Warnock will always vote to support Joe Biden, even if Georgia’s students have to suffer.”
