ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement after Raphael Warnock voted against Georgia consumers. Warnock voted against legislation that would have prevented his reckless reconciliation bill from going into effect until inflation levels are below January 2021 levels.

“Raphael Warnock cares more about Joe Biden’s reckless spending agenda than Georgia consumers,” said spokesperson Mallory Blount. “Georgians are still facing record-high prices and an economy in recession, but Raphael Warnock did not even hesitate in voting for this reckless spending bill. The top concern of Georgians is the economy and Warnock’s bill will do nothing to drive down inflation to help working families. Instead of supporting a commonsense proposal to improve our economy, Raphael Warnock once again voted against the people of Georgia and in favor of Joe Biden.”
