ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement after reports showed that Raphael Warnock may have dodged federal tax laws to take on income beyond the allowable outside income limit of a U.S. Senator.
“Raphael Warnock only has his best interests at heart, not the people of Georgia,” said spokesman Will Kiley. “Warnock voted for tax increases on working families while using a tax loophole that is supposed to be for hard-working pastors, not rich politicians. Raphael Warnock is a hypocrite who embodies what voters hate most about the Washington establishment, getting rich while playing by different rules than normal people. Warnock went to Washington and doubled his own income while he left Georgia behind to suffer.”
