ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement after three law enforcement officers, whom Raphael Warnock has labeled “thugs” and “bullies,” were shot in the line of duty while trying to fight the Biden-Warnock border crisis.

Narco-terrorists and drug cartels, like the ones who shot these law enforcement officers today, have been emboldened by the Biden Administration’s soft-on-crime stances. Warnock has voted for these policies in the Senate that have enabled dangerous cartels to move drugs into the U.S. at record numbers. This has led to huge increases in fentanyl overdoses in the United States, particularly among young people.

“Raphael Warnock had the nerve to call our law enforcement officers bullies and thugs, and has voted in the Senate to empower drug cartels and criminals,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “There are real consequences to his votes and rhetoric, like we saw today. Warnock voted against adding more law enforcement at our southern border, instead voting to add 87,000 IRS agents to go after everyday Georgians. Lives are at stake, and it is time to get someone into Georgia’s Senate seat who will vote to support our law enforcement, close our southern border, and fight to get these deadly drugs off our streets.”
