ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement highlighting how Raphael Warnock’s failure to support our heroic military and veterans.

In August 2021, Warnock voted against an amendment that would have provided funding for military infrastructure needs. The amendment would have directed $50.2 billion “to support the military’s most pressing infrastructure needs”.

On March 6th, 2021, Warnock voted against an amendment to allot at least $5 billion to community care programs for veterans and at least $1.25 billion for the construction of veteran medical facilities.

“Raphael Warnock refuses to stand up for our servicemembers and veterans,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “Our military has sacrificed so much in service to this country, they deserve our support. Instead, Raphael Warnock chooses to blindly follow Joe Biden and his reckless agenda. Georgia deserves a Senator who will stand up and fight for our military every single day, not when it is politically convenient.”
