ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released a statement highlighting Raphael Warnock’s campaign continuing to raise more money in California than in Georgia. According to FEC reports, over 90% of Warnock’s fundraising comes from out of state, with California accounting for his largest donor base.

According to a recent report, Warnock “received $57.8 million from contributors who don’t live in the state he ostensibly represents — including $13.4 million from California and $6.9 million from New York. According to OpenSecrets, a nonpartisan research group that tracks political donations, Warnock is the top Senate recipient of contributions from outside his own state.”

Meanwhile, in Georgia, Herschel Walker has actually out-raised Warnock $7.5 million to $7.3 million.

Equally as alarming is Warnock’s fundraising among the staff of federal agencies. The American Spectator reported that “a significant number of federal agencies also appear on the Open Secrets catalogue of Warnock’s Top 100 contributors. They include the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services, the U.S. Dept. of State, the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Dept. of Defense, the U.S. Dept. of Energy, the U.S. Postal Service, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency”.

“Raphael Warnock is bought and paid for by California liberals,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “Over 90% of all of Raphael Warnock’s campaign funding comes from out of state. Warnock went to Washington and spent two short years voting to support a woke agenda that Georgians oppose. It is time to send someone to the Senate who will answer to the people of Georgia and not be California’s third Senator.”
