ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released the following statement highlighting Raphael Warnock’s complete failure to support Georgia’s agriculture community in the face of growing threats from the Chinese Communist Party.
For over a decade, the Chinese Communist Party has strategically worked to purchase American farmland. The CCP is also working to purchase suppliers, distributors, and processors in the agriculture industry to increase their control over American agriculture. The ultimate goal is to undermine U.S. food production and force Americans to rely more and more on China.
“Georgia’s agriculture community is the backbone of our state’s economy and they work hard every day to put food on the table of every Georgian,” said spokesperson Mallory Blount. “But that doesn’t seem to matter to Raphael Warnock who has supported Joe Biden more than Georgia farmers. Despite being a member of the Agriculture Committee, Washington Warnock has stood by as the Chinese Communist Party has worked to buy up farmland across the country, threatening our food supply and national security. Georgians need to be asking if their junior Senator really has their best interest in mind in Washington.”
