ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released a statement on the U.S. being in a recession while Raphael Warnock doubled his salary in his first year in the Senate.

According to a recent report from CNN:

“Latest GDP reading confirms the US economy shrank for two straight quarters, supporting one definition of a recession.”

While the average Georgian is struggling to make ends meet during the recession, Raphael Warnock doubled his income in his first year in office.

According to reporting from Politico:

“In his first year after taking office, personal financial disclosures show he doubled his annual income to $541,965.”

“The economic policies of Raphael Warnock and Joe Biden have driven the U.S. into a recession,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “Warnock has driven inflation through the roof, supported killing American energy independence, and crushed our economy. While the average Georgian struggles to put gas in their car and feed their family, Warnock doubled his salary during his first year in office. Warnock has made his intentions clear by voting with Biden 96% of the time: he will always put the liberal left and his own pocket book over hard-working Georgia families.”
