ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released a new video and the following statement reminding the people of Georgia that Raphael Warnock failed to provide a direct answer when asked about his church evicting low-income residents, one of several questions Warnock dodged.
“Time and time again, Raphael Warnock failed to directly answer questions asked of him, failing to tell the people of Georgia the truth they deserve,” said campaign spokesman Will Kiley. “There is evidence that Warnock attempted to evict disadvantaged Georgians for being behind on rent, even those behind less than $50. Herschel Walker has pledged to pay these late fees and missed payments to ensure that these families do not lose their homes, but Georgians deserve direct answers from their Senator Reverend. Georgians deserve answers and they deserve better.”
