ATLANTA – Today, Herschel Walker released the following statement after Raphael Warnock announced his support for Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer’s plan to raise taxes on Americans.
This news is especially troubling given the recently released data from the Commerce Department shows a second straight quarter of negative GDP growth, the definition of a recession. Combined with record-high inflation, this news is a gut punch to the people of Georgia.
“Raphael Warnock has done more for Joe Biden, the bloated federal government, and radical environmentalists than he has for Georgia,” said Herschel Walker. “Once again, Raphael Warnock shows that he will always vote with Joe Biden when it matters most, even if it hurts Georgia. Georgians are already seeing record-high inflation and are struggling to put food on their tables and gas in their tanks, the last thing they need is a tax increase. Massive tax increases will only take more money from hard-working Georgians and this new government spending will only make inflation worse and drive up prices. Raphael Warnock has done more for Joe Biden’s reckless spending plans than Georgia’s families.”
