ATLANTA – Today, Herschel Walker released the following statement after White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spoke positively about changing the name of the reigning World Series champion Atlanta Braves.
“The current and future World Series champion Atlanta Braves should keep their name and it would be ridiculous to change it,” said Herschel Walker. “Joe Biden should be focused on getting our economy back on track, supporting our military, and addressing the rising crime in our streets. Renaming a beloved team like the Braves is a sideshow from the Democrat’s failures. We need to address the serious issues in this country, not woke distractions.”
