ATLANTA – Today, Team Herschel released statements of support from County Sheriffs from across Georgia. Each of these Sheriffs has previously endorsed Herschel Walker for Georgia’s Senate seat.

“Herschel Walker partnered with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department for over fifteen years while I was Sheriff,” said former Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren. “He led trainings on leadership, advocated for mental health, encouraged countless officers, and was always there to lend a hand whenever we needed him. I was proud to name him as an Honorary Deputy Sheriff due to his tireless efforts in support of law enforcement.”

“I know that Herschel Walker is always just a phone call away any time I have an at-risk youth or an officer in need of mental health support or encouragement,” said Johnson County Sheriff Greg Rowland. “Herschel is a champion in every way enhancing the need and funding for law enforcement and giving us the tools we need to be successful. Because of his dedication to law enforcement and his commitment to public safety, I presented Herschel with Honorary Sheriff’s badge #34 and made Herschel an Honorary Sheriff’s Deputy. If Herschel’s badge is fake, then so is mine.”

“Herschel Walker has been a reliable partner of mine for years,” said Chatham County Sheriff John Wilcher. “He has dedicated years of his free time to support law enforcement across Georgia. I am proud to call Herschel a friend and I know he will always do anything he can to help. There is nobody I trust more to have our backs than Herschel Walker.”

“Herschel Walker is the best friend law enforcement could ask for,” said Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard. “He has given so much of his free time to help us and work with our officers and we are forever grateful. Herschel knows the importance of having a well-funded and fully staffed police force to keep our communities safe. I’m proud to have Herschel’s support and proud to unequivocally give him mine.”

“Herschel Walker has our backs and we have his,” said Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum. “He is an incredible partner and friend of law enforcement in Jackson County and all around the state. Herschel knows that now, more than ever, law enforcement officers need support and resources to help keep our communities safe. I am proud to strongly endorse Herschel’s campaign because with him law enforcement will have a powerful voice in D.C.”

“Herschel Walker has always supported officers in Cherokee County,” said Cherokee County Sheriff Frank Reynolds. “I know that if I ever need anything, Herschel will drop everything to help. I am proud to endorse Herschel’s Senate candidacy because I know he will always be there for us. We need more leaders like him in Washington.”
